In 2019 I was hired by The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to join a data collection team traveling to rural areas in the Amhara, Tigray and Oromia regions. While there I documented the collection of data that helps to assess and improve the under-utilization of the provided community-based healthcare services for pre and postnatal care. This selection is of my own curation and dedicated to the mothers, families and health workers who may not of always welcomed my camera but welcomed me into their lives if only for a day or a few minutes.
